Central Bucks West has been doing it since 2009, and now that high school’s baby sister wants in on the action.
And on Thursday, August 21, from 2 to 7pm behind the high school on Folly Road in Warrington, the Central Bucks South Titans will host the first South test-drive fundraiser in partnership with Ford Motor Company and Fred Beans Ford of Doylestown.
Fortunately, there’s plenty to go around. And even if you plan to take a test-drive for West’s next event on Friday, September 12, you can still come out and help South’s efforts to raise up to $6,000 — that’s $20 from Fred Beans and Ford for every qualified test drive* of a brand new Ford. Although only one test-drive per household address is eligible for the donation at any one Drive 4 UR School event, you can participate in as many events as you want.
While there will be plenty of other fundraising activities that you can reach into your wallet for, including food from the grill, icy cold beverages and a 50-50 raffle, the Ford test-drives are completely no-sales, no-hassle, no-obligation spins around a short loop. It’s just enough to give you a taste of a new Ford hybrid, full-sized SUV, luxury sedan, beefy truck or sporty coupe.
And who knows, the team from Fred Beans Ford just might be able to wrangle a couple of Mustangs off the lot to bring over for a few hours.
All licensed drivers over 18 years are eligible. Simply stop by between 2pm and the 7pm start of the season’s first home football scrimmage against the Quakertown Panthers. Enjoy the music and food, take a spin in your favorite Ford, complete a simple, no-obligation survey on your impressions of your test-drive vehicle, and be on your way.
The CB South Football Parents Club, marching band and cheerleaders thank the Fred Beans Family of Dealerships for assistance with the school’s first Ford Drive 4 UR School test-drive fundraiser.
*To qualify for the Ford donation, the driver must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and only one qualified test-drive per address is accepted. There is absolutely no obligation to buy anything and no sales pitch…this is a no-pressure community event.
