Halftime of Friday night’s homecoming football game against Hatboro-Horsham gave Central Bucks West plenty to cheer about. It was an opportunity to honor both Ford and Fred Beans Family of Dealerships under the lights and in front of the community for the two automotive companies’ combined donations of $7840 to the CB West Football Parents Club, the cheerleaders and the band.
It was also Fred Beans’s opportunity to thank the community for its support of the August 31 fundraiser, to which 392 local drivers came for a no-hassle, no-sales test drive of a new Ford truck, SUV or car.
Ford’s Drive 4 UR School program donates $20 to a school or school initiative for each qualified test drive completed the day of the scheduled event, up to 300 drives or $6,000. This was the football parents club’s 4th year to run the fundraiser, and the second time that the Beans organization has contributed $20 for each test drive above Ford’s cap.
It was a fun evening for everyone, and a Wear Pink Night for the fight against breast cancer, as this gallery of images shows. Oh, and CB West trounced Hatboro-Horsham 31-14.
