Fred Beans Hyundai Customer Redeems 3 Millionth Rewards Point

Saves on purchase of 2010 Hyundai Sonata

Gavin Murdoch of North Wales recently purchased a 2010 Hyundai Sonata from Fred Beans Hyundai in Doylestown—and hit the jackpot.

Not only did he save on the deal by redeeming $700 he’d accumulated in his Fred Beans AutoRewards customer loyalty account toward the price of the car. He also was the winner of a Fred Beans Platinum AutoRewards five-year membership package, valued at $495, because his redemption included the milestone three millionth AutoRewards point to be redeemed since the program’s inception in 2004.

Fred Beans AutoRewards—free to new buyers at the Basic level—delivers discounts and special benefits to members in three ways. First, one point for each dollar spent in service on any vehicle in the household goes into an account that translates into up to $2000 that can be applied to the member’s next purchase of a new or pre-owned vehicle. Second, cardholders receive discounts and specials from merchant partners, such as restaurants and service providers right in the community, just by showing their card. Third, members receive Fred Beans service discounts and freebies, bonus AutoRewards points and invitations to members-only events the whole family can enjoy.

The Platinum program provides all Basic benefits plus more than $5000 in additional discounts and free services—which can be used on any vehicle in the member’s household.

“To be honest,” says Murdoch, “for a long time we’ve just sort of been collecting points, saving every few years when we redeemed them. I’d forget about the card for restaurants. But I’m getting better at it!”
