Spring-Ford High School was a busy place last weekend, with the community getting involved in the school’s celebration of its Homecoming Weekend on Friday night and Saturday.
Saturday’s Homecoming Parade, which began at noon, featured the Spring-Ford marching band, chorus and middle school marching band.
Fred Beans Nissan of Limerick and Fred Beans Chevrolet of Limerick made sure they had a role to play in the parade, providing the Chevys and Nissans that carried the 2013 Homecoming Princesses, Court, Pep Club and others.
Saturday’s football game, which followed the parade, demonstrated the Spring-Ford Rams might as the team triumphed 31-7 over the Methacton Warriors.
Friday night was taken up with the annual Powder Puff football game, a fundraiser benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, with the junior and senior girls playing the game and the junior and senior boys leading the cheers.
