Fred Beans returned from the Saab meeting in Denver so entranced with the 2012 9-4X crossover SUV that he sent out a company-wide email to tell everyone about it.
The exterior of the vehicle is much softer looking and much more ‘Saab-like.’ Looks like a much more expensive car. Also the interior is especially handsome in white or silver metallic with the parchment leather. I just want to reiterate: this car is striking.”
Of course, Beans is not the only one who is pleased to see Saab turning a corner, not just with the 9-4X but with all its models.
“Despite all the drama Saab has been through the past couple of years,” says Road & Track, referring to Saab’s sale by General Motors and purchase by Dutch company Spyker, “the company is still managing to produce good cars.” And for devoted Saab fans, that’s great news, since many feel that the GM years took Saab design down a dark road.
Says Road & Track, “Saab purists…in Trollhättan, Sweden, insist that Saab’s identity is returning.” Fred Beans is not the only one who is very glad about that. Check out the new 9-4X and other models at Fred Beans Saab in Doylestown.
