The 9/11 Heroes Run on Sunday, September 7, here in Doylestown and in cities around the country and the globe, unites communities internationally to never forget the sacrifices of the heroes of September 11, 2001, and in the wars since.
There are more reasons than ever to participate in the 5th Travis Manion 9/11 Heroes Run in Doylestown on Sunday, September 9. And you can make a huge difference even if you don’t wish to run. The Doylestown race organizers are partnering with the Gary Sinise Foundation, which builds homes for wounded soldiers.
The following is taken from the Travis Manion Foundation website. On April 24, the Travis Manion Foundation lost its founder, chairman and visionary when Janet Manion, mother of 1st Lt. Travis Manion, passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. She died surrounded by her loving family in Doylestown, Pa., at the age of 58.
