SUV enthusiasts are bound to love the Kia Niro. This crossover can achieve an EPA-estimated maximum fuel economy of 48 MPG city and 44 MPG highway,2 plus an EPA MPGe of up to 150 MPG.3 It has a 1.6L I-4 Full Parallel Hybrid System that produces 139 combined horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
This hybrid car keeps your shift schedules optimized with a dual clutch 6-speed automatic transmission. If you prefer a sportier feel to your drives around town, you can switch your transmission into Sport mode and enjoy smoother accelerations and tighter steering.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid: Most Cargo Space

This SUV hybrid is powered by the 2.5L Dynamic Force engine paired with a multi-electric motor assist. This gives you an output of 118 horsepower and 149 lb-ft of torque. AWD is also included in this Hybrid model, so you can off-road and be secure on inclement roads while still saving on fuel.
When it comes to mileage estimates, the Toyota RAV4 doesn’t disappoint. This model gives you an EPA-estimated 41 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway.4
Toyota Prius: Highest Fuel Economy
The final model in our hybrid used car lineup is the Toyota Prius. This hatchback is more compact than the other models on this list and is good for city drivers who need to maneuver around tight streets. Still, as a hatchback, it provides plenty of trunk space—27.4 cubic feet to be exact.
This car operates with a 1.8L I-4 engine that delivers a combined 96 horsepower and generates 105 lb-ft of torque.
