Fred Beans Automotive Group turned year-end vehicle sales into meaningful community support, donating $50,000 to hunger-fighting organizations. From Black Friday through the end of 2025, Fred Beans pledged a portion of each vehicle sale to a partner food pantry. In addition to financial contributions, the automotive group also collected food donations to further support the pantries.
Beans distributed the funds and donated food among eight organizations that serve communities where the automotive group operates: Bucks County Opportunity Council, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Flemington Area Food Pantry, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Preston’s Pantry–Boyertown Area Multi-Service, The Washington Community Food Pantry, West Chester Food Cupboard, and Willow Grove Baptist Church Food Pantry.
“We are committed as a business to supporting the communities where we have our dealerships and other operations,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive Group. “We appreciate the efforts of the hunger-fighting organizations we partner with to ensure individuals and entire families can access food to meet their most basic needs. We know every little bit helps, but we also know the need remains great, which is why supporting these organizations is a priority and responsibility.”
As part of the overall initiative, Fred Beans recently presented its largest donation of $22,000 to the Bucks County Opportunity Council. The company is headquartered in Doylestown and maintains its largest concentration of dealerships in Bucks County.
“We are so grateful for the continued support by Fred Beans Automotive Group. Since Covid, the team members at Fred Beans have made a tremendous difference to our food program. They have provided thousands of meals to the families in Bucks County. We are so fortunate to have their support,” said Bucks County Opportunity Council Director of Development Joe Cuozzo.
The Flemington Area Food Pantry received $5,000 from Beans’ year-end sales event. The organization is a repeat recipient of fundraising efforts organized by Fred Beans Automotive Group’s Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota dealerships in Flemington.
Upon accepting this year’s donation, Kristin Stockwell, office and garden manager for the Flemington Area Food Pantry, thanked Beans’ Flemington dealers and noted, “You’re not just donating; you’re investing in a stronger, healthier Flemington.”
