Fred Beans presents Unite for HER with $26K donation

For the second straight year, Fred Beans Automotive Group designated a portion of vehicle sales in October to Unite for HER. In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fred Beans dealerships aimed to sell cars and trucks to support the nonprofit that has a significant local impact on those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers. The funds raised through the month-long campaign totaled $26,190, bringing the two-year donation from Beans to Unite for HER to just under $50,000.

The Fred Beans Automotive Group will sell cars for a good cause this holiday season. Starting Black Friday, Nov. 29, through the end of the year, Fred Beans will donate to a food bank with every vehicle sold. To make an impact in the fight against hunger, the automotive group has set an ambitious goal for its dealerships to sell 4,000 vehicles. Beans anticipates meeting this goal will fund 100,000 meals - double the meals funded last year through a similar year-end campaign.

Fred Beans to offer free oil change and discounted automotive services for veterans

The Fred Beans Automotive Group is once again offering Veterans Day discounts on automotive services, including a free oil change, to both retired and active military personnel. The discounts extend over three days: Friday, Nov. 8; Saturday, Nov. 9 and Monday, Nov. 11.

In addition to a free oil change and a filter, the Fred Beans Automotive Group is offering a discount of 20 percent off any service bill and doubling the military rebate following the purchase of a new vehicle. The rebates vary by manufacturer.
