Fred Beans acquires Bergey’s Tire & Auto Service Center in Doylestown for new Commercial Truck Center

Fred Beans Automotive Group has expanded its operations in Doylestown, Pa., with the purchase of Bergey’s Tire & Auto Service Center, which will soon be converted into a Fred Beans Commercial Truck Center. Following renovations, the anticipated opening is late 2027.

for Ninth Time

Devon, Pa. - Fred Beans Volkswagen of Devon earned its ninth invitation to the prestigious Wolfsburg Crest Club, an annual recognition program that highlights the best-performing Volkswagen dealerships in the country. Only an elite group of dealerships are named to the Wolfsburg Crest Club for meeting the highest standards in sales, marketing, customer experience and facility management and presentation.

Boyertown, Pa. – Fred Beans Ford of Boyertown finished last year in the top 10% of all Ford dealerships in terms of performance and earned the 2025 President’s Award.

This is an impressive 20th President’s Award for the dealership and reflects the Ford Boyertown team’s achievements in both sales and service in automotive retailing.

Fred Beans Parts, Inc. was recently recognized by Toyota Motor Corporation for ending 2024 as the top wholesaler of Toyota parts in the country. Fred Beans remains in the top spot for 2025 to date.

Twelve representatives from Toyota’s New York Regional office traveled to Beans’ Parts Distribution Center for a celebratory luncheon involving 160 Fred Beans team members. Fred Beans accounts for 10 percent of Toyota parts sales in the New York Region.

​Two Fred Beans CARSTAR locations - Boyertown and Mechanicsburg - have received the Pinnacle Performer Award from the Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN). This prestigious recognition places them among the top 5% of collision repair facilities nationwide, based on rigorous on-site evaluations.

“Out of hundreds of collision centers across the U.S., only four CARSTAR locations earned this elite honor in 2025—and two are owned and operated by Fred Beans,” said Michael Coia, operations director of Fred Beans Automotive Group.

When your EV needs service, you'll want to make sure that it's receiving the proper EV maintenance. As an electric vehicle, there are specific maintenance issues that need to be addressed, and other gasoline-powered maintenance services that aren't required.
