Doylestown, Pa. – Fred Beans Automotive Group recently presented the inaugural Marc Kulp Memorial Scholarship to Payton McGarry, a senior studying automotive service technology at the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus. McGarry became a clear choice for the scholarship, demonstrating her passion for the automotive industry through her resume, multiple recommendations and scholarship application.
​Two Fred Beans CARSTAR locations - Boyertown and Mechanicsburg - have received the Pinnacle Performer Award from the Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN). This prestigious recognition places them among the top 5% of collision repair facilities nationwide, based on rigorous on-site evaluations.
“Out of hundreds of collision centers across the U.S., only four CARSTAR locations earned this elite honor in 2025—and two are owned and operated by Fred Beans,” said Michael Coia, operations director of Fred Beans Automotive Group.

Abington, Pa. – More than 60 Scouts from Cub Scout Packs in the Washington District recently competed in the Pinewood Derby held at Fred Beans Honda of Abington. A new location for this year’s race, the Fred Beans dealership provided a fitting setting for the miniature car race and additional STEM activities for young racers and their families to explore the scientific principles of automotive engineering.
As the host, Fred Beans Automotive Group also provided trophies and t-shirts for participants.

Doylestown, Pa. – Through its annual participation in the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, Fred Beans Automotive Group has contributed $3.5 million to local organizations that provide scholarships, educational services and innovative school programs.
